After launched long-awaited shopping extension, Instagram now announced they will be expanding their solution abroad and (finally) also into Europe!
Shopping has brought new experience to both, businesses and their customers. Business were able to tag products in their organic posts and their customers were able to complete the purchase within the Instagram without actually leaving the app. This is a revolution in user experience for sure. Now, people can go from inspiration to information and purchase in just a few taps, and do so in a way that’s organic to their experience.They are now expanding to Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK.
Instagram shopping is a new way to bring new content and engage with customers which is also bringing results, according to Savannah Boysen who is marketing manager at TYME.
“Our traffic from Instagram has increased 44% since implementing shopping on Instagram. It’s a clean and simple way to show your product in a lifestyle setting, without impacting the user experience.”
